When in Europe you have to see at least on castle. We had quite an interesting adventure getting to the castle (got off at the wrong bus stop). After a lovely walk, we arrived at Muiderslot. By some twist in fate, we arrived just in time for the only English tour of the day. The tour was very informative as to the life from when it was built in 1280 till today.
