I arrived in the valley late on the first day. After driving for around 5 hours, I was ready to do a quick hike to stretch my legs and gape at my surroundings. I opted to walk to Mirror Lake with the intentions of getting a nice shot of Half Dome at sunset in the water. Little did I know the lake was seasonal and all dried up.
