Kaiteriteri is right outside of the national park. While here I did a trip with Kaiteriteri Kayaks (I highly recommend them) to a remote section of the park. This section does not have trail access to the beaches, so when we pulled in for lunch ... we had the place to ourselves. The swimming was great here too. Plenty of small starfish, urchins, fish, and a few seals. A bonus from the swim was a hot cup of cocoa. Able Tasman National Park- South Island NZ
