Since it was getting late in the day, I opted not to go the remaining 100m or so to the Hut. The view at the crest offered spectacular 360 degree views of the area. After coming up here, I wished I could have skipped the Hooker Valley hike so I could have spent more time taking in the view. Mount Cook National Park- South Island NZ
