I could fill this page up with tons of horse pictures, but to simplify things I'll feature only three horses.

This picture was taken at my very first lesson in upstate NY. The pony's name is Salt and Pepper and she taught me a great deal. At this time I was also playing soccer...if you haven't noticed by the t-shirt and shoes.

On the right is Prince. I've competed with him seriously at the Connecticut state level. Together we have won year-end championships in equitation and pleasure divisions. Prince was very versitile and able to "keep his cool" in different classes. He was able to compete in the pleasure division (basically how relaxed and responsive he is to my commands) and then go directly to the fast-paced, timed jumper divisions and back again.

These are pictures of me and Whisper My Dreams. The top picture is of us just jumping around in the ring at the barn (yes, the fences needed some repair). The one on the right is of us relaxing at a show waiting for our class to begin. With Whisper I got to experience the training aspect of riding. We worked out his phobias of puddles (seems silly doesn't it), loading on trailers, and putting on his bridle. I had to go back to the basics of riding with him and he was an apt student. Under my instruction he also gained lots of muscle to look like the picture on the right instead of the scrawny horse he was.
